Samaritan House is based in Barrie, Ontario, and is dedicated to supporting women and children fleeing and/or recovering from domestic violence. We provide a safe and welcoming environment where individuals can access essential resources, counselling, and programs designed to help them rebuild their lives with dignity and independence.

Beyond housing, Samaritan House operates a donation-based resource centre, offering clothing, household goods, and other essentials to those in need. Through outreach, advocacy, and community partnerships, we work to empower women and families, break cycles of violence, and foster resilience. Our mission is to provide not only immediate support but also the tools and opportunities for long-term healing, growth, and stability.
